About Abelle

Abelle Hayford is a Ghanaian American illustrator, character and Color designer . Abelle’s current body of work consists of diverse characters and narratives, good vibes, and a lot of pastel colors.They’re currently at Color designer at Netflix Animation but will be available for work in Nov 2021.

Social media has played a huge role in Abelle’s artistic growth and uses their social media to share their art to others while also promoting other marginalized artists as well. In this effort, Abelle organized #DrawingwhileBlack, a viral hashtag to celebrate and promote black artists around the world!

Past clients include Warner Bros,Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Disney TVA, New York Times , Penguin Random House, Simon & Schuster , and The New Yorker.
